The Challenge

SWAT teams were juggling multiple disconnected systems for operation planning — paper maps, spreadsheets, separate communication tools, and manual PDF creation. There was no single platform purpose-built for tactical pre-operation planning, briefing, and deployment. We set out to build one from scratch.

What We Built

Command Post is a progressive web app (PWA) that gives tactical teams a complete command system in one place. The platform includes interactive satellite mapping with breach points, perimeters, and vehicle positioning; a structured threat assessment matrix for risk scoring; one-click briefing PDF generation; full team roster and equipment management; and a purpose-built mobile operator view for officers on scene.

The architecture is multi-tenant with role-based access control, encrypted data storage, and CJIS-aligned security practices — because this data demands the highest standard. Currently serving 12+ departments with 500+ operations planned.
